Shamanic Drums

Shamanism is a spiritual practice centered around the shaman, a spiritual leader who acts as a bridge between the human and spirit worlds. They attribute disease to negative energies and spiritual imbalances and travel, under rhythm-induced trance, to otherworldly planes where they balance the powers between benevolent and malevolent forces to cure afflictions.

Drumming practices are rhythmic and repetitive with monotonic or simple overtones. A hypnotic practice, traditional drumming combines a slow, steady, inwardly reflecting and grounding mother beat with those that are faster, more dynamic, outwardly expressive and expansive.

Made from animal hide and wood, our shamanic drums produce low frequency sounds with earthy, resonant and primal qualities.
